Boat Passes are required for a motorized vessel to utilize any water body within the Maitland City limits in accordance with Maitland City Code Chapter 11, Section 11-36. A valid boat passes must be presented to Maitland boat patrol officers upon request. Annual Passes offer an economical option for those who may be utilizing the lakes frequently throughout the year. The cost of an annual boat pass varies with each vessel. The formula to determine the cost of an annual boat pass utilizes the length of boat + engine horsepower x .50 for residents or .75 for non-residents. Annual Passholders are given a decal that is required to be placed on the hull of the boat being licensed. Payment along with State of Florida boat registration paperwork is required to be presented at the Maitland Community Park office to register for an annual pass. Annual passes are valid from July 1st to June 30th of the following year. Prices are prorated to 50% after January 1st each year.

Please come to the park office located at 1400 Mayo Ave between 8am and 8pm, Monday to Saturdays or 8am to 6pm on Sundays (excluding holidays) to register and receive your annual pass decal. Please be sure to bring your valid boat registration license with you.

Please note that this pass grants you access to the waterways and lakes in Maitland only and does not guarantee vehicle parking availability at Ft. Maitland (a City of Maitland boat launching facility) or any other site. Securing legal vehicle parking is the responsibility of each boat owner.
